  • Brain-body based therapies EMDR, Brainspotting, and KAP can enhance talk therapy by leveraging the gains you have already made and facilitating break throughs.

  • If you feel like you are looping or that there may be some deeper trauma or wound that is preventing you from feeling better, adjunctive EMDR, Brainspotting, or KAP can next level your healing.

  • You don’t need to change therapists. You can continue to see your current therapist for support while doing EMDR, Brainspotting, KAP, or return to working with them after short term adjunctive therapy

  • Your primary therapist and I collaborate to support you in achieving your goals.

  • Adjunctive therapy can be for a few sessions, a few months, or can be done as an EMDR or Brainspotting intensive.

My Name is Kim and I can help

My name is Kim Austin. I am a licensed clinical social worker licensed in Georgia, New York, and Maine. I have been practicing psychotherapy for over 20 years. I was trained in EMDR in 2004 and have been practicing this powerful therapy since then. In 2019 I trained in Brainspotting and was deeply impressed with the results I saw with my clients and in my own personal healing. Since then I have become certified in Brainspotting and am an approved Brainspotting Consultant. And I recently added Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) to my offerings. I am grateful to these approaches and the opportunity to offer their healing benefits to my clients.

Contact me to set up a free 15 minute consultation to see if adjunctive Brainspotting, EMDR, or KAP might be helpful to you or for your clients (if you are a therapist). You can also email kim@kimaustin.com or call me at (207) 295-7427 to learn more.
